We are please to announce our very own Iain Hennessey will speak at the Alder Hey Innovation Conference.
Iain Hennessey is a consultant paediatric surgeon and visionary clinical director of Innovation at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
With an honours degree in Medicine, Surgery, and Anatomical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, Iain’s training took him across the UK, USA and Australia.
As an advocate for technological advancements in children’s healthcare, Iain has pioneered numerous innovations. Some of these include point-of-care 3D printing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the development of advanced sensor technologies.
Iain’s notable achievements include, forging multiple strategic partnerships with industry sectors and spearheading the creation of a unique 1000 square meter underground innovation facility, designed for collaboration with the technology sector. Under his leadership, a dynamic and diverse team has been assembled to accelerate transformative changes within the NHS.
The Alder Hey Innovation Conference will take place 19-20 March 2026 at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
