Tell us about yourself:
One day a week, Wendy swaps her role as Senior Speech and Language Therapist to be a Senior Clinical Innovation Consultant. She first became aware of the innovation team after submitting a problem during Covid around mask wearing. This led to her working with the team for 18 months and when the opportunity came up to join the team she jumped at the chance. Wendy’s role is helping to look at problems and solutions that come into the Innovation portal from a clinical perspective, supporting the live projects and working with the clinical fellows.
Fun fact about yourself:
I have driven round the track at Silverstone in a Ferrari and an Aston Martin, it was equally the most exhilarating and scary thing I have ever done!
