Olu leads the development of AI-driven solutions to improve paediatric care and reduce health inequalities. He works with clinicians and researchers to design AI tools that address real-world challenges, such as the “Was Not Brought” AI tool. Olu pursued a PhD applying machine learning to create a caries risk prediction tool to address health inequalities. He’s passionate about ethical AI and using technology to transform healthcare for vulnerable populations.

I started out as a dentist, but my curiosity about data’s role in uncovering hidden patterns led me to AI. Now, I develop tools that transform paediatric care and tackle health inequalities, combining my clinical background with innovative technology.
